Rick Rossi
Vice President - Cybersecurity and Intelligence

Rick Rossi is a cybersecurity and intelligence strategist with nearly two decades of experience countering advanced threats to critical infrastructure, including drone-enabled cyber-physical risks. His career has centered on defending networks, operational technologies, and energy systems targeted by both nation-state actors and criminal adversaries.
Rick played a key role in establishing the New England Utility Cybersecurity Integration Collaborative (NEUCIC), aligning utilities and government partners around threat detection and resilience strategies. His expertise in cyber forensics, threat hunting, and intelligence integration directly supports Summit’s Drone Defense and Operations Programs—where cybersecurity convergence is essential to detecting, tracking, and mitigating hostile UAS.
A recognized authority in layered defense, Rick understands that drones are never just an aerial problem—they exploit cyber vulnerabilities, physical access, and intelligence gaps. By applying a multi-domain defense strategy, he helps organizations close these seams and defend against coordinated attacks that blend digital and physical tactics.
Holding a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University and technical certifications including CISSP, CEH, and multiple GIAC designations, Rick bridges the gap between cyber defense and aerial security. At Summit Defense, he ensures that every drone defense solution is intelligence-driven, cyber-resilient, and operationally aligned with the most complex risk environments.
